AB 1605 updates the California Education Code to include the Space Force in the definition of “military services” and “uniformed services” for the purposes of allowing recruitment on high school campuses and benefiting military children under the interstate compact. This technical cleanup bill ensures that all branches of the military are included in Education Code and that California students and military families have access to all the opportunities and benefits the military offers.
