SACRAMENTO – Today, Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher (Yuba City) issued the following statement in reaction to the latest inflation numbers released for June.
“President Biden, you can run, but you cannot hide from Bidenflation. Our inflation problems are all made worse by bad Democrat economic policy. We could ease people’s inflation pain at the pump and lower the cost of all goods with easy solutions like suspending the gas tax.”
As inflation continues to rise, the cost of everyday goods also continues to soar as the implementation of AB 5 employee reclassification begins for independent truckers, adding more potential pressure to California’s already stressed supply chains. Consumers will yet again bear the brunt of the negative economic policies that have left millions of Californians who pay among the highest prices in the nation wondering how they will keep their businesses open and feed their families.
