SACRAMENTO – Today, Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher (Yuba City) issued the following statement on the release of the Bureau of Labor Statistics inflation data, which show inflation hitting 7.5%, its highest level since February 1982:
“Democrats’ record of failure is clear – under their leadership, people pay more to get less. They’ve mismanaged the economy, allowed the supply chain crisis to fester, and spent taxpayer money like it’s going out of style. The price of Democratic incompetence is getting steeper by the day, and hardworking Californians are getting stuck with the bill.”
