SACRAMENTO – San Francisco nonprofits are giving out pipes, tin foil, and drug paraphernalia used to smoke fentanyl without accountability, according to a new article published by the San Francisco Chronicle.
These products are often handed out without any effort to connect users with drug treatment resources.
Even more outrageous is the fact that this drug paraphernalia is bought with taxpayer money through the state’s “Harm Reduction Supply Clearinghouse.”
You heard that right – Democrats are putting taxpayers on the hook for buying supplies to enable fentanyl users’ addiction.
Democrat lawmakers have repeatedly voted down legislation to curb the sale of drugs and punish dealers. They even killed a bill to put life-saving doses of Narcan in schools, despite the fact that the fentanyl crisis continues to kill thousands of Californians every year.
Californians continue to suffer while Democrats coddle drug dealers and enable addiction.
