Gallagher: Beale Chosen for Air Force Drone Program – Big Win for the North State

YUBA COUNTY – Beale Air Force Base has been selected as the preferred site for the U.S. Air Force’s new Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program. This next-generation drone initiative that will shape the future of air combat. The move brings national defense innovation, high-tech jobs, and economic momentum to the North State.

Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher (R-East Nicolaus), who secured bi-partisan support in the Legislature for the CCA mission at Beale, issued the following statement:

“Beale Air Force Base just landed a major mission, and it’s a game-changer for the North State. The Air Force selected Beale for its new Collaborative Combat Aircraft program, bringing next-generation autonomous aircraft and investment to our region.

This keeps Beale at the forefront of national defense and delivers high-paying jobs and advanced technology to Yuba County.
