SACRAMENTO – Today, Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher (Yuba City) issued the following statement on President Biden’s State of the Union address:
“Americans everywhere are struggling to cope with the rising crime and high inflation that have become hallmarks of the Biden administration.
“Sadly, the situation in California is even worse, thanks to Democrats’ backwards agenda that prioritizes criminals and left-wing extremists above regular people.
“While the President is celebrating luxury car subsidies for the elite and 80,000 new IRS agents to hassle the middle class, Californians are hurting.
“Assembly Republicans are prioritizing public safety and bringing down the cost of living – we hope our Democratic colleagues finally join in that effort.”
