SACRAMENTO – Today, Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher issued the following statement on Democrats’ third attempt at a tax relief proposal in less than ten days:
“This shouldn’t be difficult. Just let people keep more of their money.
“Californians have been struggling with record gas prices for a month. Show us a bill to provide tax relief, with no tricks or gimmicks, and let’s vote on it ASAP. And let’s also suspend the gas tax.”
